Like sparring siblings, French Corsica & Italian Sardinia are similar in many ways. The Mediterranean climate is close to identical with its unique mistral wind, the mountain slopes, moderate rainfall & at their closest point, the islands are only 11 kilometers apart. Both attract hundreds of thousands of tourists a year. Both can be lovely & hypnotic.
So, which to choose? Explore them both with us at our next wine dinner
Isolation from the mainland has encouraged cultivation of distinct grape varietals not traditionally grown in mainland France or Italy, such as Vermentino (Sardinia) or Rolle (Corsica), Cannonau (Grenache), Nielluccio (Sangiovese) & Sciaccarellu which you will be able to taste on the night
Apologies, unfortunately dietary requirements cannot be catered for with this set menu.
